Learn more about becoming a Boy Scout

Who can Join?

Boy Scouting is available to boys who have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old or have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, or who are 11, but not yet 18 years old.

How Much does it cost?

Membership cost $10.00 per year, Boys Life Magazine Subscription (optional) cost $10.80 per year. Weekly dues are 75 cents per scout.

What will I need?

The two things you will need is a Scout Uniform, and the Scout Handbook. You can purchase them from one of the local scout shops, or online from the Online Catalog.

How do I sign up?

You can join one of our weekly meetings, and fill out an application to join. Contact us for more information.

How often are the Scout Meetings?

We meet once a week for our regular meetings.

What are the rules?

1. You must memorize the Scout Oath, Law, Motto and Slogan, know what they mean, and promise to always do your best.

2. Obey your patrol leader, senior patrol leader, parents and adult leaders. It will soon be your turn to be a leader, and you will want the same treatment.

3. Always have FUN, and always be considerate of others.
